One Night Before Christmas - Personal Project

Where I live, I am surrounded by red brick terraced houses and lots of hills. One evening in the winter I was walking around the streets with the dog and the view across the rooftops showed all the different worlds existing inside the windows and I couldn’t resist creating an illustration of something similar.

As with all of my illustrations, this one began as a pencil sketch before coming to life with gouache, neocolor pastels, pencil crayons and being digitally edited. The original illustration was A2 in size.
